My Boys

Holiday Memories....I took this photo whilst lazing on my sun lounger, so on the long dark evenings sitting at the PC until midnight I can have a quick fix, sunshine memory!

Blogger.com is revived!.....it is September 19th 2010 and I have began Year 3.....again!.......home life is more settled.......my eldest son has left school and has full time job, my youngest son has just started year 10.
Had a lovely summer holiday, really restful....and a lovely week away in Madeira, our favourite holiday destination and a superb hotel......
So here we go again
Started out and completed Year 1 in cohort 6, completed year 2 with Cohort 8 and am going to gain my degree with cohort 9.

A Year On: Back again, having got through year 2 and with fear and trepidation about to embark on year 3...the final year and hopefully at the end of it "A Degree"..........still very unsure about what this will mean for me professionally, but personally a tremendous sense of achievement........have taken my first look at year 3 modules, and presently I am not too daunted! I am sure that will all change by Christmas!

Hi there it is now August 2008 and hey ho....where has the time gone? I have had a year our from my degree because of personal circumstances. Basically been the "year from hell"

Bereavement wise lost my Nanna in November, my Uncle Bri in December and then after a very short and sudden illness my Mother in Law in March..........my back went in December and after 3 agonizing weeks in bed in December I was told that I had 2 slipped discs and that I need a full back operation!!!!!NO THANK YOU..........just getting along best I can at the moment and pleased to say that I am back on track and embarking back on to my degree course.........Happy to say that have let me back!

Hello Blogging.....still find all this mighty odd......have to talk to my boys about MYSPACE......seems to be more going on there??????

Have a thing on VOx and Facebook.....but still not sure what it is all about!!!!!

Module 3 A New Learning Experience

I am really looking forward to this module because I can honestly say that this is "all new to me" Have just been reading some comments in FC and I too, am an old fashioned girl and like to print off reading materials. I think that somehow my brain was tricked into thinking that because this in an "Online Degree" we feel that if we are not tapping away of staring at the screen then we are not doing what we should be! It is the sharing of what we learn that is the important online bit!

Module 2 Results

Quite suprised today because had a fairly good result with Module 2. I nearly missed the hand in deadline and was under extreme stress when I submitted it, I was too late to ask for an extension so basically just 'went for it'.........this has proved to me that sometimes pure determination can get you through.........and even though I promised that I would not leave it all until the last minute I had no alternative.........Here comes Module 3 and I have learnt that the most important aspect with this learning is in the preparation and organisation.
